Two Semester Structure
The archive course is arranged as semester 1 and semester 2 learning modules.
Over the past years, Delhi College of Photography has built a reputation as one of the premier photography schools in India by developing programs that put students first.
The Diploma in Commercial Photography is a full-time program for students who want structured training across creative, organizational, and commercial photography.
Semester one builds the base: camera operation, exposure, composition, depth of field, outdoor practice, lighting basics, and image review.
Students are trained through practical assignments so that technical choices become deliberate and repeatable.
Semester two moves toward commercial work, including studio lighting, product, fashion, food, wedding-style assignments, editing, and portfolio presentation.
The focus is on building the confidence to plan, shoot, edit, and deliver professional-looking images.
Students work with studio lights, modifiers, reflectors, and controlled setups to understand direction, quality, and ratio of light.
Product photography covers clean catalog images, light cube work, white background shooting, texture control, and managing shadows and reflections.
Fashion modules introduce model direction, styling, lighting, studio and outdoor image-making. Food modules add plating, props, surfaces, and appetite-driven lighting.
Students practice storytelling, event awareness, portrait work, client-style briefs, planning, and delivery for different commercial photography requirements.
Editing focuses on selection, correction, retouching, color, and final export. Portfolio work helps students collect and present their strongest images.
